Brest State Technical University Discusses Paths to Digital Transformation for Regional Enterprises

On June 19, 2026, a seminar and meeting was held at Brest State Technical University, providing an important platform for dialogue between science and the real economy. Representatives of leading industrial enterprises in the Brest region, the Regional Executive Committee's Economics Committee, and the university's scientific community gathered to discuss current issues of scientific and technical cooperation, personnel training, and addressing production challenges.

The main goal of the meeting was a joint analysis of the region's competencies to support developments in automation and robotics, as well as to identify solutions to pressing technical and organizational challenges facing enterprises.

The event opened with a welcoming address and a report by Nikolai Nikolaevich Shalobyta, Vice-Rector for Research. In his speech, Nikolai Nikolaevich emphasized the need to improve the university's educational and research activities to train specialists capable of ensuring the digital transformation of enterprises.

The seminar was attended by Natalia Mikhailovna Olekhnovich, Chair of the Brest Regional Executive Committee's Economics Committee; Olga Evgenyevna Dzhezhora, First Deputy Chair of the Brest Regional Executive Committee's Economics Committee; and Tatyana Vladimirovna Grinevich, Deputy Head of the Innovation Department of the Brest Regional Executive Committee's Economics Committee.

The seminar program was rich with practical case studies and relevant topics:

Sergey Vyacheslavovich Lapich, Head of the Industry Laboratory, focused his presentation on modern industrial labeling methods, presenting relevant solutions and implementation methods.

Tatyana Vladimirovna Grinevich, Deputy Head of the Innovation Department of the Regional Executive Committee's Economics Committee, spoke to the participants about mechanisms for state support of innovation. Yuri Aleksandrovich Anufriev, Head of Sales at YUKOLA-INFO-Brest, presented a practical perspective on the transition from a "digital circuit to an autonomous enterprise."

The key part of the seminar was a lively discussion. Representatives of such industry leaders as Brestmash OJSC, PP Polesie SOOO, Savushkin Product OJSC, and others had the opportunity to directly pose questions to scientists and colleagues. During the discussion, specific proposals for joint collaboration and solutions to technical challenges facing these enterprises were developed.
