The international summer school "Mechanical Engineering in the Republic of Belarus 2026", organized by Brest State Technical University jointly with Xinxiang University (China), has concluded. The project brought together students from China and Belarusian faculty, providing a unique opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of modern mechanical engineering and learn about Belarusian culture.
For a week, summer school participants attended lectures by leading faculty from the BrSTU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, mastering the latest design and manufacturing technologies. Special attention was paid to areas such as computer-aided design, 3D modeling, and robotics. These disciplines enabled the Chinese students to acquire valuable competencies necessary for their future professional careers.
In addition to lectures, the program included visits to industrial enterprises in the Brest Region. Students had the opportunity to observe production processes at factories, interact with practicing engineers, and study real-life cases of implementing innovative solutions in the mechanical engineering industry.
The program concluded with a formal awards ceremony for the summer school graduates. Brest State Technical University Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Andrey Gennadyevich Prorovsky and Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty Sergey Romanovich Onysko personally presented each participant with a certificate for successful completion of the course.
