BrSTU Rector Andrey Nikolaevich Parfievich participated in the plenary session on the second day of the second National School of Rectors. The event, held at the National Children's Technopark, focused on summing up the results and developing recommendations for the higher education system.
The focus was on creating a university of the future and strengthening the state's technological independence. The National Children's Technopark served as a prime example of how these objectives are being implemented in practice. Forum participants examined the work of its modern laboratories and evaluated students' engineering projects - it is here that the foundation for advanced specialist training is being laid.
The key event was the plenary session, held in the technopark's exhibition pavilion. Section moderators presented reports on the previous day's discussions. The open discussion addressed proposals for the commercialization of scientific research, the digitalization of the educational process, strengthening educational work, and expanding the export of educational services.

Participants discussed media hygiene and youth education in the digital environment, diversification of educational services exports, commercialization of scientific research, as well as managing the digital landscape of universities and implementing artificial intelligence. Speakers included heads of the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the High-Tech Park, and other government agencies.
