From September 21 to 25, 2026, Brest State Technical University (BrSTU) is serving as the primary venue for the 24th International Annual Scientific Conference "Indoor and Environmental Air Quality."
The forum is organized by BrSTU (Republic of Belarus) and the Research Institute of Building Physics of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences (NIISF RAASN, Russia). The event was made possible through the support of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation, the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences (RAASN), and the Russian Society of Construction Engineers (ROIS).
The conference aims to discuss concepts and identify implementation pathways for innovative technologies and solutions ensuring indoor and environmental air quality.
Participants are focusing on issues such as building energy efficiency, modern ventilation and air conditioning systems, eco-friendly building materials, and methods for monitoring microclimates in urban environments.
The conference organizing committee is chaired by Alexander Nikolaevich Gvozdkov (NIISF), Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor, and Advisor to RAASN. Under his leadership, a packed schedule of plenary sessions and panel discussions has been arranged.
Thirty-five delegates have opted to participate in person. Leading scientists and practicing engineers from Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan are presenting their papers.
During the visit, BrSTU and NIISF RAASN signed a cooperation agreement in the fields of education and science.
Key areas of cooperation include:

✔ Research projects in construction and architecture;
✔ Exchange of experience and technologies between universities in Belarus and Russia.
