Staff from the Department of Ideological and Educational Work, together with volunteers and the student trade union, organized a heartwarming charity event titled "A Recipe for Warmth: With Love from BrSTU." University representatives visited a family-style children's home to bring the children a real celebration, along with attention and care.
The visit program was packed with activities, sincere moments, and a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The gathering began with friendly introductions; BrSTU students and staff quickly bonded with the children, creating a relaxed and trusting environment.
The highlight of the day was a pizza-making workshop. Under the guidance of their mentors, the young chefs enthusiastically rolled out dough, selected toppings, and created their first culinary masterpieces. Everyone was captivated by the process, and the aroma of freshly baked pizza filled the house, embodying the very sense of family coziness that inspired the event's name.
Naturally, the guests did not arrive empty-handed. As part of the event, the children received practical gifts—sets of brand-new stationery for their studies and creative pursuits, which will be useful for their daily schoolwork and developmental activities.
The festive day concluded with a heartwarming tea party. Gathered around the table, the participants enjoyed the pizza they had made together, shared their impressions, laughed, and chatted. The organizers noted that the "Recipe for Warmth" initiative is not merely a charitable visit, but an opportunity to share genuine human warmth, support the children, and show them that the extended BrGTU family is always there for them and ready to bring joy.
