A delegation from Shandong Huayu University of Technology visited BrSTU.

On July 8, 2026, a delegation from Shandong Huayu University of Technology (Dezhou, People's Republic of China) paid a working visit to Brest State Technical University.

The visit marked an important step in developing a long-term partnership between the universities. The Cooperation Agreement was signed by the two universities in November 2023, and today, these academic ties are reaching a new level of practical implementation.

The Chinese delegation included Yang Yi, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Liang Yuguo, Rector; Lei Haifeng, Assistant to the Rector; Wang Ping, Assistant to the Rector; Li Haijun, Deputy Head of the International Exchange Department; and Zhang Yicong, Specialist of the International Exchange Department.

During the official negotiations, the parties identified key areas for mutually beneficial cooperation. Particular attention was paid to training engineering personnel in the fields of heat and gas supply, ventilation, and gas supply, as well as the design of intelligent building life support systems.

A separate section of the meeting was devoted to innovation. The parties will focus on training specialists in the field of digital climate control engineering, particularly in AI and BIM technologies for the creation of integrated smart home systems.

The practical part of the visit began with a tour of BrSTU. The Chinese guests visited the BrSTU Competence Center, where they were introduced to the advanced teaching and laboratory equipment.

The visit of the Chinese delegation confirmed BrSTU's status as a key international educational hub in the western region of Belarus and opened new horizons for the integration of the Brest engineering school into the global educational space.
