On November 1, 2024, an important meeting was held at Brest State Technical University - a dialogue platform dedicated to legal education and information security among students. The event was held in the format of a live dialogue, where the speaker was Vladislav Vladimirovich Shkutko, senior operative officer of the Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Brest Regional Executive Committee.

Vladislav Vladimirovich shared valuable experience with the audience, talking about modern types of fraud in cyberspace. Students learned about real examples of fraudulent schemes that specialists from his department, as well as colleagues from the Russian Federation, face. Particular attention was paid to the importance of careful handling of personal data on social networks.

After the speech, students had a unique opportunity to ask questions of interest to them and discuss current topics related to the protection of personal information in the digital age. All those present noted the high relevance of the topics raised and the usefulness of the information received.
