A large-scale career guidance meeting for parents of future students was held at Brest State Technical University. During the lecture, parents were able to learn about the educational opportunities at BrSTU, the employment prospects of graduates and the benefits of studying at one of the leading technical universities in the country.

The meeting was opened by Rector Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich, emphasizing the importance of choosing a future profession for young people. He noted that the university strives to provide students with all the necessary knowledge and skills so that they can successfully realize themselves in their chosen field of activity, and proves its aspirations with numerous high-level awards.

Sergey Antonovich spoke about the achievements of BrSTU in the educational process, noted that BrSTU is the first and only university in Belarus where the Competence Center "Industrial Robotics and Digital Engineering" has been created and operates, as well as about the network of engineering classes and new specialties that are opening in accordance with economic demands.

The Rector also emphasized that choosing a specialty is a serious step on which the child's future depends, so it is important to approach this issue consciously and carefully.

After the Rector's opening remarks, the Deans of each of the five faculties of BrSTU took the floor. Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering Inessa Pavlovna Pavlova, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Systems and Ecology Oleg Pavlovich Meshik, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Sergey Romanovich Onysko, Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Systems Andrey Nikolaevich Parfievich and Dean of the Faculty of Economics Victoria Vasilyevna Zazerskaya. They spoke in detail about the areas of training offered by their faculties, the features of the educational process and career prospects after graduating from the university.

A special place in the meeting program was given to a speech by a BrSTU graduate. Head of the Market Analytics and Audit Department of Savushkin Product OJSC Kirill Aleksandrovich Khilimonyuk, a graduate of the Faculty of Economics with a degree in Marketing, shared his experience of studying at the university. Kirill Aleksandrovich noted that thanks to the knowledge and skills he had acquired, he was able to find a job immediately after graduating and successfully build a career.

The final stage of the meeting was a question and answer session. Parents actively asked questions about admission, training conditions, targeted training, the military department of BrSTU and the distribution of graduates. The Rector and Deans answered each question in detail, trying to inform parents as fully as possible about all aspects of the life of BrSTU students.
